Introduction to Agenda 21

UN’s Agenda 21 Equals Organized Global ‘Snitching’: Interested parties who stood to gain financially and politicians chose smart growth, smart meters, smart grid, land grabs, land stewardship and preservation, water conservation in the name of the taxpayers. Their choices and decisions are now being pushed in every county and state that has adopted UN Agenda 21 initiatives through generous government grants and ICLEI partners. By Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh
America was founded on the idea that private property is sacred. Americans cannot conceive their country without the right to own property. As they go about their daily lives, the United Nations Agenda 21 is methodically chipping away at our country’s solid foundation.
Under the guise of protecting the environment, water conservation, resources, reducing carbon footprint, reducing the use of electricity, smart grid, smart meters, cutting down the use of fossil fuels, separating people from their cars in favor of mass transit, biking and walking within five minutes of residence, returning land to wilderness by moving large rural and urban populations into high rise tenements in green zones, and social justice, the UN is taking over our lives.
UN Agenda 21 marches on in spite of the many revelations that global warming, climate change scare tactics, faulty data, and faux academic research from the University of East Anglia have been debunked.
U.S. Energy Secretary Chu, promoting engineering education in Portland, spoke about what he sees as the next great space race: Sustainability. Not only was he promoting engineering when our space program no longer exists, but his remarks on green energy came on the heels of three bankruptcies of “clean energy” companies that are yet to deliver any clean energy or provide the millions of jobs needed to replace the current ones lost during Obama’s misadministration of our fossil fuel-based economy. The most recent company to fail is Solyndra in spite of the heavy stimulus dollars invested in its venture.
Ethanol-producers of “clean energy” were complaining that the price of corn has gone up and the supply of corn has diminished, hurting their ability to produce ethanol. At the same time, our food supply of corn has diminished as well, and some countries are experiencing shortages of their staple food and higher prices. This is one indication that we are definitely nowhere near replacing fossil fuels as a large scale, cheap source of energy without bankrupting our entire economy.
UN Agenda 21 with its sustainability is not about safeguarding the environment and clean energy, it is about economic power and control. It is about brokering and laundering carbon credit scams, about world dominance and destruction of the largest economy on the planet. The U.S. is the only country standing in the way of a one world global government under the aegis of the United Nations.
Every day I discover a new facet to UN Agenda 21 that has been in place for quite some time, sold as a voluntary activity with broad population consensus. They call us “stakeholders,” although few of us have any idea what is going on.
Today I found the Global Reporting Initiative. According to their website, ”The Global Reporting Initiative is a registered not-for-profit organization located in Amsterdam.” Their leftist vision is supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Finance Corporation, the Netherlands Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
I spent several hours navigating through the myriad of resources, data, and links. I am sure, most Americans do not have the interest or the time to research what is happening to their country.
GRI is encouraging organizations to report (read snitch) on Sustainable Development compliance in their countries.
The list of past supporters includes: European Commission, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, UN Foundation, World Bank, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Ford Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Spencer T. and Ann W. Olin Foundation, United States Environment Protection Agency, V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation, the Soros Foundation, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and Australia.
The portal supporters of this ‘voluntary’ Sustainable Development reporting network are TATA, Microsoft, and HP.
“Every two years GRI organizes the ‘Amsterdam Global Conference on Sustainability and Transparency’, which has developed into the most important network meeting in the field of sustainability reporting worldwide.”
GRI has global partnerships, alliances, and synergies with many leftist organizations and governments. GRI has divided the globe into five sectors, overseen by Stakeholder Council Members. The sectors are Africa, Asia Pacific/Oceania, Latin America/Caribbean, North America/Europe, and West Asia.
GRI has “synergies” with the Earth Charter Initiative, International Finance Corporation (a World Bank group), the International Organization for Standardization, and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. It is difficult and tedious to wade through the euphemistic language that seems so tame yet it hides the true intent of the organization, to control our corporate and economic activity.
“The mission of the Earth Charter Initiative is to promote the transition to sustainable ways of living and a global society founded on a shared ethical framework that includes respect and care for the community of life, ecological integrity, universal human rights, respect for diversity, economic justice, democracy, and a culture of peace.”
Here is my response to the above charter mission.
We do not live in a democracy, we live in a constitutional republic. I do not want to live in a global society; I want to live in the United States of America and to safeguard its freedoms. Human rights are respected in America.
We are so diverse to the point that political correctness is destroying our society. Do we want socialist “economic justice” that involves taking wealth from producers and giving it to non-producers who are satisfied with waiting on handouts from the government?
It is hard to imagine an American who does not want to live in peace; unfortunately, we are at war with a hostile theocratic ideology and thus, as the Romans very wisely said, “Si vis pacem, para bellum,” if you desire peace, prepare for war.
Should United Nations dictate to the rest of the world what economic justice is? I do not wish to receive lectures on respect for diversity from UN totalitarian governments that disrespect women, other religions, and repress minorities through genocide.
The International Finance Corporation “emphasizes the value of integrating sustainability into core business strategy and management, a trend which is emerging as the new frontier for business competitiveness.” Apparently, few of us knew that investment is “increasingly guided by environmental, social, and governance factors. I thought investment was guided by the selfish capitalist desire to make money and, in the process, provide a good product or service that people need and want.
“The first ISO Guidance Standard on Social Responsibility, ISO 26000, published in November 2010, emphasizes the value of public reporting on social responsibility performance to internal and external stakeholders, such as employees, local communities, investors and regulators.”
We had informants under the communist system—it allowed the totalitarian government to better control the masses. We have whistleblowers in capitalism; we do not need UN’s rules to control us through organized snitching.
“The Global Reporting Initiative and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2008 to set internationally recognized sustainability reporting standards. It was done to foster sustainable development in developing countries and transition economies.” The real ultimate goal is to spread the wealth and arrest development in countries like U.S.
GRI established global strategic partnerships with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and the Global Compact.
On December 13, 2010, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and GRI announced the partnership to “help” companies make greater use of Sustainability Reporting Framework.

The United Nations formally inaugurated GRI in 2002 as a new global institution collaborating with United Nations Environment Programme to a sustainable future. One example of their collaboration is the Carrots and Sticks report on regulation of sustainability reporting.
Do we really need the United Nations to regulate our country, corporations, and citizens in every way into poverty because third world nations think that we are not good stewards of the environment and must thus be controlled and snitched on if we don’t comply? Are U.S. tax dollars involved in this intricate network?
United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) “represents United Nations’ environmental conscience” and it is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Its mission is to provide leadership and encourage partnership in caring for the environment.” They aim to help decision makers to develop and implement policies focusing onsustainable development, sustainable consumption and production, efficient use of energy and other resources, adequate management of chemicals, and integration of development costs in development policies. Corporate social responsibility must be expressed in all companies’ sustainability reporting.
The UN Global Compact and GRI signed an agreement in May 2010 to align their work in advancing corporate responsibility and transparency. Apparently, more than 5,800 businesses have already signed on to this scheme called a “corporate responsibility platform.” I fail to see how a private corporation is obligated to report anything to the United Nations.
The United Nations Global Compact’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption are derived from various sources, including the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development of 1992 (Agenda 21).
Sustainability reports based on the GRI “can be used to demonstrate organizational commitment to sustainable development, to compare organizational performance over time, and to measure performance with respect to laws, norms, standards, and voluntary initiatives.”
Therein resides the rub; although they use the word ‘voluntary,’ through a very cleverly forced “consensus” many of the UN Agenda 21 goals have been adopted at local levels without any input from the population. As I searched many websites to compile this report, I realize the encroachment of United Nation’s Agenda 21. Look up the words sustainable development, sustainability, smart growth, environmental stewardship, green agenda, and just one site, www.fedcenter.gov, and you will see how many organizations already have plans in place to control everything that we do under the UN umbrella of a one-world government.

You might be thinking this doesn’t affect you because you don’t live in ‘rural America,’ but think again because the agenda in play is to eliminate all property rights in the U.S.

The first order of business is to drive out the 16% of our population who currently live and work in rural America. The final steps to implement the “Agenda for the 21st Century” have begun.

Decades in the making (long before Obama became President), the framework was slowly integrated into the U.S. all the way down to the local level in the form of environmental programs (e.g. Sustainable Development, Smart Growth). With Obama in office, the race to the finish line has begun with a President whose stated goal is “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Read more…
